STEM Careers – THE VET

Emily and Granny take their dog Fluff to the vet for a check-up. There she learns what a veterinarian (vet) is.

A vet is someone who treats sick and injured animals. They treat injuries, fix broken bones, do tests, research, and give advice on how to best take care of animals.

Emily becomes interested in the job of a vet but decides not to be a vet because she does not have a love for animals.
